Why has paypal suddenly made my payment an eCheque that takes a WEEK to clear????

My A/C is verified with my bank and I've been using this OK for ages...why oh why is my last payment (a normal amount) a 7 day to clear echeque?

Because you have made a few purchases recently and it is a security measure? It happens PayPal look at each transaction seperately and sometimes deem an eCheque is appropriate.

Has your card on file expired if so then an echeque would be sent instead.

Takes longer than 7 days to clear too.

This happened to me too, was a right pain in the ass.

you can link your debit card to the paypa; account and get instant payments again.
