Hi there,

Just after some advice really, sold a item on ebay, buyer contacted me 3 mins before end of auction aking if I would accept postal order, I said yes, by then person had already bid & has 0 feedback & registered on ebay 22.2.11, just want to check if this sounds OK?

Of course, I won't send the item until I have cashed the postal order, but can they do anything with my address that I need to give for them to send the postal oder. Sorry if I am being silly or not trusting enough but I just think you can never be too careful, I am always worried when they have 0 feedback & only just registered account.

Any advice would be greatful received.

Thanks

it's all fine. don't worry. cash PO. send item. Spend money on wine and sweets :)

Well of course it is okay if you do not receive a postal order then you do not send.

A postal order is safer and quicker than a cheque. If the buyer is new they may not have PayPal set up properly yet.
