Can anyone save me a trip and a queue in my post office by telling me how much standard video games (Playstation) cost to post, in a jiffy bag? Does a normal 1st class stamp do it? Thanks.

weigh it with the packaging and look up the cost on the royal mail website. It will be classed as a packet. a first class stamp if for a letter. the RM site tells you all the sizes etc

Send in a plastic bag will cost just over a quid, if you send recorded it will cost about £1.80 invest in some scales.

plastic bag?! No! The case will get smashed. I hate it when people don't wrap CD/DVD/game cases well.

I always send my DVD's Games in a mailing sack, never had one broken yet and have sent over a 100.

wow! you are very lucky. Everytime I have received a Cd or DVd in just a mailing bag or an envelope it has arrived broken. They are often broken when just placed in a jiffy bag too. Tbh honest I do dispair of the mentality of putting something like this in a flimsy envelope. I think all those who intend selling on ebay should be made to take a tour around the RM to see exactly what happens to the parcels! Grin
