I bought DS2 a tripp trapp chair from ebay.

It said that it was in good used condition.

It arrived and its not in good condition, would describe as very used with damage to wood, including a huge gash out of one piece which they should have drawn my attention to, although its useable.

WWYD?

For me it would depend on what I paid for it.
If it was dirt cheap and safely useable I would possibly not mention it and just chalk it up to experience.
If I felt I had paid for good condition and it was way too much for the condition of it I would contact the seller.

It was not dirt cheap - was £85. Was planning to use and then sell couldn't sell without drawing attention to the fact that it was in bad condition.

Well it would depend on what you want then you could contact the seller and ask for a refund as the condition is def not good.
Or she might give you a partial refund if you want to keep it anyway.
At that price I wouldn't be happy either and would be looking for either a full ar part refund for it.

ask for a ful refund and take photos of the damage.

Did it mention damage in the description ? Could it have been scratched in transit, I guess you need to use a courier for such a large item so maybe it was OK when it left the seller.

I'd certainly email about it as they might be able to claim from the couriers.

If the seller does not offer a full refund you can file a dispute do it with PayPal and site the reason damaged upon receipt. YOu will have to return trackable at your own expense. Escalate the dispute to a claim immediately if the seller is not helpful.
