Posting to Malaysia

Just a quick query if anyone can help - I received an email asking how much to post a ladies top to Malaysia the day before auction end - didn't see the email in time and they have won the item now (little bit cheeky).
I am prepared to post it there (buyer has lots of excellent feedback) but does anyone have a rough idea of cost for a small packet, it's just a small lightweight top. I've looked on Royal Mail's website but I don't have scales at home so not sure of weight.
Am I going to have to go to post office, get a price, let her know, then go again to send it?

I now put in my listings that i now longer mail to Malaysia. For the sake of a 99p t-shirt i sold,i had months of hassle with a dispute opened against me. The buyer had listed two different addresses then claimed it hadn't turn up and sent angry emails in very broken english 'WHERE MY ITEM? where my item?' that kind of thing. Then demanded another, which i didnt have ( i am not a shop) Luckily it eventually turned up.
I don't sell to Ethiopia or Czech Republic either now. Too much hassle to chase it up at my end and deal with non english writing buyers, who make threats when items don't turn up or do, very very late. It is very frustrating when the problem is ALWAYS in their country and not mine but i am held liable.

yes..give her the price, send a new invoice, then go back to post office once she's paid. I have to do this a lot for overseas buyers! a pain doing two trips but better to be accurate, i'm rubbish at working it out at home tbh

Deffo make it registered.

Malaysia is the only place I have had hassle with.

Oh great! Sad

I posted an eBay package to Malaysia yesterday. I suppose I had better just keep my fingers crossed...

i think their postal service is on the whole atrocious, and many buyers just do not understand how eBay works (or know about patience!)
