I'm sure I've done this in the past, but it wont let me now! I know I cant revise, but I thought I could add? DH just told me something about his item that he should have told me when I was listing it HmmAngry

You should be able to select 'Add to description' from the drop down box instead of revise - if it's something negative I;d also contact the bidder to draw their attention to it. HTH

Sorry, forgot the 12-hr thing. Only thing you could do is end the listing early and re-list again with the info you want to include. You could also message any current bidders and tell them you are re-listing and try just a 1-day listing so that it ends tomorrow? Any watchers who haven't bid will also see that it has been re-listed under their watched items.

Is it something negative that might put bidders off?

Its just that a battery is low, apparently (big technical battery, not a pair of AAs!!) . But I did clearly say in the original listing that it worked fine last time was used, but was untested prior to listing it as we dont have the facilities.

you could always pose a question to yourself and then answer it - answered questions appear at the bottom of the listing.

you know, like
"could you tell me what size it is?"

I don't think you can add a question if it is less than 12 hours
