I recently bought some maternity jeans off ebay. They were described as being "in brilliant condition".
When they actually arrived, they smelt musty, had various stains on them and had a rip/pull at the top of one of the legs. Not exactly in brilliant condition...
I contacted the seller immediately and said they were not as described - I wasn't actually fussed about the smell or the stains (as these would probably come out in the wash) but I'm a modest kind of person who doesn't like showing her knickers so the rip/pull in the crotch was a bit of a deal-breaker.
Anyway, she wasn't having any of it, said they must have been damaged in the post, and asked me to return the jeans for inspection, which I did. She is now accusing me of damaging the jeans myself and is going to send them back to me
I have raised a dispute with ebay but what happens if she sends them to me again? Will ebay refund me? Really don't want a damaged pair of jeans...
