Don't know what to do in terms of feedback

I bought a child's cardigan - nothing expensive, think about £3.50 total including P&P. I paid as soon as the auction ended.

The item still hasn't arrived but due to being manic with other stuff I didn't even realise.

Today I got the following mail from the seller:

"hi there i have just arived home. i have 15 business day handling time on my items as i work away. today is day 10 but i just wanted to let you know your item has just been packaged up to be sent out first thing tomoro morning. thanks"

It's not that big of a deal, but I'm a bit pissed off with the tone.

For a start, the estimated delivery time on the item listing says 6-8 days so I don't know what she means by this 15 day "handling time".

But I think it's mainly that if she'd said, "God, sorry, I'm all over the place. Your cardi will be sent off tomorrow" I would have been totally fine. I just feel a bit irritated that she's making up some nonsense about 15 days handling time and not even apologising.

It's small potatoes I know, but what would you do in terms of feedback? Or should I just shrug it off as life is too short?

i would leave a neutral feedback pointing out that the listing said 6-8 days but it was much later than that, however it came ad was nice etc etc

I would leave a neutral too. I hope it is as described when it comes. In order to be eligible for SP she has to send within 7 days.

I wouldn't leave a neutral - sounds a bit unfair. I would wait until the cardigan comes, it it's nice and as described, then why not leave positive feedback. Smile

Agree, life is too short...

You could mark her down on the delivery time bit if you felt the need or say something like "nice cardigan, delivery a bit slow".
