When is the best time for a item to finish?

I want to time my items so they finish at a time where more people are likely to be around, I was thinking Sunday afternoon would be a good time but was wondering was others thought?

I have heard that ending listings on a Sunday evening is the best time.

I always end my stuff between 4pm and 8pm on a Sunday, depending on my plans for that day.

My logic was that most people are at home then, and not necessarily too busy.

Another one for sundays - def 3ish til 7ish.

I find Sunday evenings around 8pmish the best.

The Gadget Show had a "challenge" on it some time ago that meant that one of the presenters did the Ebay "thing".

She stated that listings ending on Thursdays and Sundays have a higher than average success rate.

I would also state that ending the listings later afternoon/early evening are better than earlier in the day.

and a ten day listing starting on a Saturday evening hits two Sundays....
