Address problem what can I do?

I have had a bit of a post Christmas sort out and sold a few things.
I have had an email today from one buyer saying that I have sent parcel to an address she left over 2 years ago.
She paid by paypal and address was as per the paypal payment email.

I have posted it second class recorded so it's likely to be attempted to be delivered round about now.
On one hand I don't think I have done anything wrong and the mistake is either her's or paypal's. On the other hand I feel sorry for her - as she has paid for something she hasn't got.
I have told her that I will check the tracking details on the post office receipt to see if it's delivered. I put my return info on the parcel so I assume it will come back to me. I don't know what to do if it's delivered to her old address and the occupants take delivery though. She didn't tell me how far away she lives now so I dint know if it's possible for her to collect it or ask them to forward it but I'm not sure what happens to the proof of delivery record , presumably there would be no way if recording it unless it was paid for again.
Any ideas anyone?

Ask her to see if a friend can go around and speak to the new neighbours?

Or pass on the tracking details to her so she can hunt it down?

Def not your fault though.

Thanks I have now heard from her. I gave her the tracking numbet and she chased it up as she was still quite local. The property is empty and the sorting office had the parcel. She has picked it up so it has turned out ok in the end. Thank goodness as I had visions of it all going pear shaped.
