Hopefully you can help. I bought a baby food processor on ebay. There's 2 issues, really.

The first - they charge £10 postage, and it only cost £5 to post.

The second - when it got here it was soooooo dirty - there was caked on food on the outside of it, and then under the bowl there was dried food bits, and all on the buttons etc. (note, the advert said in clean condition)

I contacted the seller - but all she's done is offer the £5 back for the extra postage "profit". I don't want to be harsh, I sell a lot of stuff myself, so i know what it's like from sellers point of view - but not sure what to do. The thing cos me about £50.

Shall i just leave it, or suggest she transfer another £5 to cover the dirtyness, cleanign etc. I am going to have to scrub it and wash up the bowls and all the bits, etc.

Confused

Yuk! Return it!!!!

You don't need it anyway. If you need to puree baby food a cheap stick whisk will do exactly the same job, take up less cupboard space, have multiple uses( and probably be easier to clean)!!

Have you ever heard of Baby Led Weaning??? (BLW)

Give it a go! Its Fab, I finally tried it with no4. He's been the easiest to wean and is the least fussy eater I have!

If you return it you will have to pay return postage, can you clean it up?

If you can I would leave negative feedback stating overcharge on postage, and that the item was dirty.

I wouldnt leave positive or a neutral for an item like that arriving filthy dirty.

I would email ebay and say its minging, I know someone else who did that and got a complete refund without actually returning it at all, something to do with it contraveaning the selling rules??? Not sure...

Hi

Thanks for the replies - but all sorted - the woman gave me a partial refund and the postage money back. She sadi she asked her DH to pack it up, and obviously assumed it was clean.... Hmm

But sorted. Thanks for the advice.
