Should a potential bidder be asking me what my reserve price is?

I'm just ignoring them at the moment. I'm not sure it is within ebay rules - won't be reporting them or anything though.

hi, you can tell them - it is entirely up to you. TBH as a bidder I sometimes do ask - it tells me whether it is worth bidding or whether the seller is holding out for too much.

it is not against e bay rules - i also have asked this to determine whether i am wasting my time and i have also been asked this question when selling and usually tell them

Its fine. If you dont respond to them they probably wont bid on the item, so you probably have nothing to lose by telling them.

Oh ok! Thanks. I'll decide whether or not to let them know.

Why not tell them, I always tell them, at least then if they bid they are serious. I have always put my reserve on the listing so I don't waste anybodies time.
