Should I set the buy it now price higher than the opening bid price for an item... I've seen both higher and lower buy it now prices and am a bit confused.

I always set the BIN price higher than the opening bid. Say I had something starting at £30, if it's worth around £45 I'll set it at £40. Once someone bids, BIN is knocked off.

Reminds me, I've a few things that need to go on today!

Oh thanks for that, I wasn't sure how it works. I've had a message from someone who missed a bag I put on, originally for £100, she's asked for me to relist it with a BIN price of £200, I assume that means she might not pay that, she could always put a bid in below that BIN price and take the chance no one will bid against her. Or have I got that wrong?

If she's asked you to put it back on with that price, that would usually mean she wants to buy it at that price and will do so straight away,.

Remember to send special delivery to teh address on teh PayPal transaction page, do not send to their friend in Nigeria.

Noted fabbychic, she's in Australia and has asked me to send it to a friend in UK. Does that sound dodgy to you?
