Any tips for ebaying a wedding dress?

It's not bulky so is easy to post but I usually sell DVDs/books etc and have never done well with clothes

I have sold a few clothes and although this may sound like I am suggesting the bloody obvious its amazing how many people don't do the basics.
Suggest
Iron/press the dress or at least make it appear as winkle free as possible.
If you have access to a manneqin (sorry about spelling), then put it on that to properly show the fit.
Make sure the lighting is really good for all photos.
Photograph from a variety of angles.
Provide close-ups of an embelishments.
In the written details put as much detail as possible, fabric type, colour, size, length etc.
Have a realistic start price, have a look at other wedding dresses that have been sold, if possible have a look at some that were similar and see what they went for in the end.
If you do his lot I will be amazed if it doesn't sell. But if not, is there a local wedding dress shop, occasionally they will buy good quality dresses to use for hire.
