sent something recorded delivery five weeks ago. buyer just contacted me to say it never arrived. i threw out the delivery receipt last week - assumed it has got there. it was a bnib kids trampoline so reckoned it was going to be an xmas pressie and had arrived no problem or would have heard.

there's nothing i can do, is there? i just have to refund the £30 Sad.

Contact the post office. They should be able to find records of delivery.

It is very odd that the recipient is only telling you now that it didn't arrive......I would be a bit Hmm

Unfortunately without the Tracking Number on the recorded delivery slip i.e your receipt RM will not be able to assist.

You will have to refund unfortunately, ask them if they would be kind enough to agree to a mutual cancellation so you can get your fees back.

thanks guys,

3littlefrogs - i thought that too. but now i think about it, it was sent recorded so presumably if it has arrived the PO'd have proof of arrival. it would only work as a scam if the seller had thrown out the receipt.... gah.

I would ring her local sorting office and hope you get someone helpful. Hard for a large parcel to go missing....Unless the postman half-inched it for his kids....
