It`s all in German. I can't wade through techno blöurb well enough. I think I've somehow managed to buy it twice (there were several auctions all ending at similar time).

Obv I only want one.

Plus, am pissed off, cos only in the email did it say I wouldn't have it for Christmas, but in the bidding page stuff it said if you want it by Christmas buy and pay today....

So, can't see a number,, anyone done this before, what, if anything can I do? Or am I stuck with 2??

I would contact the seller, explain very nicely that you know it was your fault and you do have to buy them (well, you could not and risk negative feedback) but that really you only wanted one (you are new to eBay etc), and would they mind mutually cancelling the sale? Merry Christmas,t hank you etc

If you've bought the item on two separate auctions then I think you'll need to pay for them. However, if you feel you've been misled into buying something that you can't get for Christmas then I'd email the seller and say that because of this you can't go through with the transaction. It's worth a try.

I did something similar once, where I thought I was buying size 7 trainers for my DD but when they arrived they were size 7 adult trainers in sparkly pink/purple (WTF?). I just paid for them and ebayed them again as soon as they arrived.

thing is I'm totally unclear. I have 2 emails from ebay saying congratulations, you were the highest bidder. (so it seems I've 'won' the same thing twice), but then if I click in the actual artical link that I've won, it then says for 1 I was not the highest bidder, and for one that I was, so why do I have an email saying I was the highest bnidder, and ref number and details for how to pay etc, if then it later seems to say I didn't win it?

Can't see any way of contacting them. There's a contact ebay link, and it says to put in your Q but when I do it just says there's nothing matching my query. Spent over an hour on this going round in bloody circles Angry . First and last ebay for me I think.

Check each of the emails from Ebay. Every item for sale has a unique ref number. If the numbers are the same, then you've only bought one.

Ebay will email you if you've bid on something and someone outbids you, so it may be that the first email is them telling you that you've been outbid, then the second one - if you've entered another bid - is the one telling you that you've won.

Hope that makes sense.
