I bought a dress recently and it hasnt arrived and to be honest i dont think they sent it because I was the only bidder and got the dress for £7.50 and the buy it now was £20 so i dont think he got the amount he wanted.

anyway he said he would refund but he says he wants my email address to do a personal refund through pay pal. why does he want this? why cant he just issue it through ebay/pay by just clicking issue a refund? and shall i tell him to just issue a refund the approperiate way?

cheers for any advice

he would have your email address anyway from the payment you originally sent!

TBH he would be better protected doing proper refund, otherwise it's just like he sent you money - not refunded you!

Tell him he can find it upon the original transaction.

He cant refund via the original transaction because he would need paypal funds to do it, if he has no paypal funds the only way he can refund is via send money, but if he doesnt send a personal payment you pay fees to receive.

I emailed him a link to the ebay how to refund a buyer page and told him to refund me approperately and he did.
