buyer has not paid and now tells me they dont want item

i have sold some mens boots for 35 pounds. buyer hasnt paid so i emailed her. she has now told me that she wanted them for a birthday present but the birthday has gone and she does not want them. what do i do

she has entered into a contract with you to buy the item. if she doesn't pay after four days, open a dispute as an un paid item. She will get a strike and you get your final value fees back.

in the dispute section there is an option to mutually cancel the transaction. This can be done now, you don't have to wait 4 days. Once this is complete you can sell to the 2nd highest bidder, or relist etc

Dont go the mutual cancellation route, if they refuse to acknowledge it you are lumbered with the fees. Go the non paying route.
