eBay Seller Fees Question

I haven't sold anything for ages, but just as I was listing an item today eBay tells me I have to register a credit card/bank account etc with them to pay seller fees.

I've filled everything in set up a DD with my bank but my fingers are hovering! I'm slightly worried about something going wrong. In the past I've just paid up with a one time payment and all was good.

Am I being overly cautious?

aan finally, do eBay take seller fees at the end of the month?

you will get an invoice (mine is beginning of the month) and it advises you that the fees will be taken in a few days time. You can however still pay with off payments from paypal account and so nothing will ever be taken from your bank account

Thank you SLM. That's great. I wonder if it's always at the beginning of the month, or depends on when the DD was set up?

I don't usually have enough (or anything, in fact!) in my PayPal account so would rather pay through my bank, I think, anyway!
