What can I do? I sent the seller a list of what I was buying and my offer, she agreed that this was correct.
Now she says that one of the items isn't actually included even though, I had actually asked her twice in total if it was, with the list I thought being the clarification of this.

This item for me is a deal or no deal type thing and I wouldn't have bought the items if she had said it wasn't included in the first place. The seller is saying that she was agreeing with the price not the list. Angry

I have already paid by bank transfer and feel ripped off quite frankly, as I am not getting what I thought I paid for. Is there anything I can do?

I hope this makes sense?

Paying any seller on any site by bank transfer offers you no protection whatsoever, so I guess there is nothing you can do.

Don't know anything about Preloved can you leave feedback?

Purplebuns · 03/11/2010 18:27

Well I figured if they ripped me off badly I could go through the police, as it is one thing I don't think I can.
I did it from my bank to theirs so it will be trackable that way? So annoying!

No feedback either!

If you have it in writing its effectively a contract and you can pursue through small claims, or imply you intend to do so.

Is the trader a professional trader or private? If professional you have distance selling regs on your side and can get a refund (excl. postage and return postage)

Ant that only works if she purchased via a buy it now, and not via bidding. Not sure how Preloved works.

Sparklers0nMyHead · 03/11/2010 18:36

Preloved buyers advertise their item/s with a price ono.

Purplebuns · 03/11/2010 18:44

ANTagony, that is what I thought. However would she get away with it, as she has just now said that she was agreeing to price? Confused
Also it was private.

She also has not said whether she has posted the items or not yet, which I keep asking her. As I would ask for a refund if she hasn't.

Thanks for your replies :)

report her to preloved? maybe?

classydiva · 03/11/2010 20:23

The only way you get protection on buying off the net is via a card or paying via PayPal. Bank transfer she could send nothing and unless you know her address you stuck and lose your dosh.
