Item not recieved.

Hi i sold a bundle of baby clothes that was paid for on 4th Oct and posted 5th Oct it was sent recorded delivery but hast been received.
Royal mail website is showing as posted 5/10/10 and in our delivery system.
As it has now been 15 working days since I posted the item would you refund through paypal, then claim back via Royal Mail ?

I think you need to find out where the parcel is. Is it on it's way back to you? Why wasn't it delivered? Because you sent it recorded, I wouldn't necessarily bend over backwards to refund the buyer particularly if it was her fault that the item didn;t arrive (too lazy to collect from sorting office etc).

The parcel should be sent back to you and therefore you have the option to redeliver to the buyer.
