What doesn't sell?

I find I have very mixed luck on ebay, particuarly with women's clothing.
For example I once listed a Dorothy Perkins coat in good nick, size 12 and got about £7 for it. At the same time I listed a mad blue fluffy cookie monster coat which I bought for £14 quid and got over £40 for it.
Right now I have a Karen Millen dress on ebay which has a lot of interest, but lots of unusual tops which haven't even got one bid.
So, do people want cheap stuff or unusual stuff on ebay? Generally I mean.

I have no idea! Things I think will sell well often don't and then other things go crazy!

For instance;

Pair of old used Blundstone work boots fround in the garage (with mildew on). I cleaned them up and they went for £57!

My old cooker, taken out when we got a new ktichen with built in appliances. Went for £165! I was going to throw it out!

Old greenhouse, in real need of repair. I was going to burn it. £55!

I have no idea!?
