wail
I listed a load of stuff and all I've sold is 1 pair of tights and 2 nappies!!!
I had a fab maclaren on at £50 and another pushchair (a really expensive one) on at a BIN or best offers.

The offers I've had have been a joke £100 £120

I can't understnad why the maclaren didn't sell I looked for weeks over the summer before I could get one I could afford, the other one I'm astonished I had no decent offers not one single one I would even entertain!

I'm in a good location the stuff is all in excellent condition, photos OK the listing is OK

(took me ages to list too it was last Sunday when e-bay was really slow)
wail!!

What have similar items been going for recently on ebay?

Deemented · 24/10/2010 23:11

I find ebay is a bit shite at the moment.

Everything i want to buy goes for more than i can afford, and everything i'm selling goes for peanuts.

I was gutted t'other week, i sold a £450 pram for £51. I cried. Lots.

I guess it's a buyers market at the moment - people are wanting bargains for Christmas and with everyone selling things to make money for Christmas people can pick and choose.

freefruit · 24/10/2010 23:17

true re christmas but prams?!!!!!

similar maclarens go for £150 or don't sell bizarre completely the opposite from the Summer

I'm surprised it didn't sell I'm in a good location it's a good price etc etc

sympathy about your pushchair dee!

(I had more party tights on I thought would sell because of the season but they didn't go either!!)

Ohh.. you have tights??? I'm after some - what size and how much???

4andnotout · 24/10/2010 23:22

Are you offering postage on the prams as that's the deal breaker for me.

I seem to have the same problem though, when I buy I pay top whack but when I sell it only just covers costs!

Deemented · 24/10/2010 23:23

I offered courier postage but they were local so picked up.

freefruit · 25/10/2010 01:56

Size 12-18 months
2x mini mode cream/white the thick winter kind currently £1.99 with postage at cost!
they have never even been out of the packet!!

I had over 20 watchers on my pushchair, I didn't offer postage I was told not to on a pushchair because of breakage etc.

I'm in the part of London they call nappy vally so I kind of expected there might be someone around who wanted a maclaren!!! /icandy

Ahh, too small! I'm after 2-3 or 3-4.

I'm busy selling an Elvis Presley collection. I'm hoping it'll sell for decent money. Also have lots of toys on there too. Am doing a car boot sale next Saturday, and whatever doesn't sell will go on ebay.
