If a returned item doesn't arrive, do we get our money back?

We bought some work boots for DH but they weren't 'work' boots because they had no steel toe cap so we had to return them. This was last Wednesday and they still haven't arrived. The Post Office 'track and trace' is saying where and when they were posted but only says they're 'progressing through the system'

We are still hoping they'll arrive in the next day or so, but what happens if they don't? Will we get our money back?

If they dont arrive then you should be able to claim the money back from the Royal Mail.

Thanks for that Smile

Just been on the Post Office website and it says for Recorded Delivery they'll only pay up to £41. Bugger, they were more than that but I suppose it'll be better than nothing

Still hoping it gets there though of course

Found out last night they were delivered the day after we posted them, i.e. last Thursday!

Still not had the refund though! Sent a message last night asking when it would come, think I'll give them till tomorrow then open a dispute
