In trouble with other half

Had row 'over nothing' this morning. The gist was my ebay 'habit' has got out of control recently. My side is that I'm actually saving tons with all the BNWT Next purchases for our dd. It's a pain touring shops in Scarborough with a pram and of course my ebay habit has not got 'out of control'. His side - the postman is becoming a personal friend! Fair point. Anyway, rant aside, any tips for dealing with fact other half is only earner now aside from measly mat pay and deciding to be a stay at home mum

Sell the old stuff back on Ebay?

sixlostmonkeys · 15/10/2010 15:38

tell him from now on he can be the one to purchase all dd's clothes - he will soon see how far the money stretches on the high street and will then pat you on the back for being so clever with ebay Grin
or, ignor him

or better still, ignor me cos I'm single (and tehre is probably a reason for that) Grin

Why buy BNWT Next stuff? I bought bundles of any old brand second hand stuff on ebay and DS didn't look like a scruffy urchin :) That would be much more cost effective than buying single/small bundle BNWT items especially once you've added on the postage.

ThanQ all, I s'pose Ebay isn't really the problem it's adjusting money balance (no pun intended) post baby now DH is 'traditional' breadwinner and I'm not content with 'traditional' pin money.
