Selling a baby item on ebay.

Had email saying would I consider postage to Malta or Ireland (?! eh not even two close countries!) as they are desperate for said item for their soon to be adopted very ill newborn.

(just wondering if the adoption of ill child story is a cover to get me to post abroad which am reluctant to do as heard it can be dodgy- then again am i being mean and it will be fine? I just don't get why ireland or malta!?

there is nothing dodgy about posting outside the UK.
This though just sounds .... puzzling. What country are they registered in and what is their buying history?

depends how much your items worth-if not much then youve not got alot to lose. I once posted something worth £35 to new york, it supposedly never arrived i then had to refund £35 plus postage, lesson learnt, i now never post abroad-too much hassle and no proof of delivey.

Are they adopting a baby in Malta, but live in Ireland? Or vice versa?

Or they might live in Malta, but have relatives visiting from Ireland who could bring it with them?

Make sure you always get proof of postage (or even delivery if you're prepared to pay the extra) no matter what you decide.

Is an item worth £60 but will prob get £20ish for it when bidding ends.

User profile says UK?

Will investigate postage.

hmmm they may not win the bidding anyhow.
