or is it me ?

I won a 99p item which was listed as local collection only.

Nothing special, just a kitchen bowl.

I asked teh seller how she would like paying, cash on collection or PP. She preferred PP so I have duly paid up.

Now the irritating bit. I can only collect certain nights after 7pm. As a mum with a toddler who is demanding his bed at this time, its not exactly the easiest thing to make a 20 mins round trip to pick up this thing with wingey kids in the back

The seller for whatever reason wont leave it on her doorstep so I can pick up after school drop off , approx 9.30.

AIBU or is she ?

I take it she isn't going to be home during the day? only evenings?

If she is limited to times when she can be there, explain you have restrictions and would she be kind enough to tell you available slots over the next few days in the hope that one of them will be a good time for you.

Yes sorry, reading that back it looks a bit confusing.

The seller is telling me I can only collect in the evenings when somebody is at her home.

I'll reply with another polite email, but if i get the same response I think I'll just give up and leave it

Its not worth getting het up over 99p, but I suppose its taught me to ask in advance if local items can be picked up during the day.

She is being Very unreasonable if you asked & she won't leave it out front in the mornings. She should have specified the very restricted collection times in her advert (I have seen sellers do that).
