my listings clearly state payment required within 3 days of end of auction.
Had this recently and the buyer had moved house and had no internet access - so i let that one go and didn't make a fuss with them over it being so late!

then had 2 items finish on Sun so by my reckoning payment should have been received by tonight. invoices had been sent a minute after auction end. have had no responses from buyers.

is a week reasonable to wait and then open unpaid dispute??

am getting rather fed up ..........

after a couple of days send another invoice. after a few more days send a reminder (selling manager is free and has the templates set up for you) if still no response after 7 days open a dispute

I've had the same thing a number of times, and I'm currently awaiting payment for an item sold on Sunday. Really annoys me

I sent a couple of reminder emails and then open a dispute after 7 days. Often the opening of the dispute prompts them to pay, usually with a "I was sick", "I was moving house", "I was on holiday". I've heard them all!

hehe yes! disputes seem to cure many ailments and help buyers regain use of their typing fingers ;)

hi ..... i had this too
sold something on saturday and they have paid today Hmm

i do exactly the same - couple of invoices, polite reminder and then after 7 days, a dispute.

as a buyer i am a fast payer but i realise everyone is not the same!

I've got one at the mo...auction finished last Sunday, nada. Invoiced Tuesday, and sent email today re-invoicing. Will open dispute tomorrow. That usually kicks them into touch. Grin

I just had a similar problem i sent an invoice, 2 days later sent a message, still no reply 4th day sent another message. I allow 7 days so on the 6th day i sent a message to say if payment was not recieved by midnight the following day i would be opening an unpaid iteam dispute, they paid the same day.
So i would suggest giving 7 days but advice them in a message that you will report if there is still no payment.
good luck
