She's just won and paid for an item and sent a message through ebay asking for it to be sent to a different address. Is there any reason why I shouldn't do this?

Well if you don't have proof of postage to the registered ebay address then they can make a claim against you for non delivery, I think.

I haven'tsold anything on ebay for a long time so might be wrong.

Yes, it could be a hijacked ebay account so don't do it.

Is it anything of value that means someone might try to pull a fast one ?

have a look through paypal, but I think they can add a 'gift' address to paypal and then you can post to that address and still be covered

Thanks for the replies.

It's cost her £25 plus p&p so not a huge value.

I'll go and have a look at PP and see about adding the address.

I've emailed her to ask her to add the address to paypal. Do ebay have a similar option too?

Problem solved. It has been sent to the address on the account.
