feedback query - what would you do?

I bought a pair of "genuine" Nikes - £60 so not cheap - but when they landed they were clearly fake. I emailed seller who instantly offered a refund.

It took me 2 attempts at £5 each to get them returned (I missed out the flat number the first time) but seller has now very promptly refunded me the full £70.

He has one negative feedback saying the shoes are fake, but everyone else sounds quite happy (I hadn't looked before I bought them Blush)

Anyway should I just not leave feedback? Leave neutral saying shoes are fake but seller refunded? leave negative? report to ebay?

This feels like one of the "what would you do?" dilemmas on moneysavingexpert!

I would say something along the lines of "query over authenticity of item which seller immediately remedied with full refund".

Ooooh scurryfunge, that's very cunning - thank you!

I will say exactly that Grin

Can you report him? He is after all selling fake Nikes and pretending they are genuine - I'm guessing he doesn't quibble over refunds because he doesn't want any attention drawn to his profitable little business.

Thanks for that idea, Geekygirl. I did click on 1 star for accuracy of description & ticked the counterfeit option there, & ebay came up with one of their dispute options but I let it go.

Still pondering whether to report or not (I do a lot of pondering, hence my name!)

I put in my refund request that they are fake - is the 1-star thing likely to flag it up now so ebay might look into the refund details?
