Would i be ok to wrap the stand in bubble wrap and the basket and then put it in a black bag and send it via Parcelforce?

Or, do i need to get a box and do it that way?

If I bought one I would expect it to come in a box I think

Huge boxes not too hard to find - I got mine to send car seat from a pet shop. A boxes always better really :)

Thanks everyone. I'll go on the hunt for a box tomorrow.

you just have to imagine what it would look like after it has been thrown about a lot and had 2 tonne of other parcels thrown on top of it. - so yes, a good strong box would be best.

Yes probably a big box - if you find one that big you'll be lucky, hope its worth the postage, doesn't it go by size as well as weight. If you have to post i'd squish it down and bubble wrap it!

Well I managed to bubble wrap it and then wrap it in a bag and it arrived safely. Thanks everyone for your advice.
