Stating clothing is in Excellent condition (not really) - feedback??

I mainly receive items as described and 98% stating excellent - are. Excellent is like new, fresh colours, fabric still stiff, etc.

Just received a Joules top which I paid a high price but really its very worn, the red seam braiding on the slits on hem is bleaching, the fabric is crushed around neck and in general the fabric is stating to look raggy. Smells like it hasnt been washed too!

I received good service but on Feedback how do you word this? Should I say "sold as excellent - more good condition. ALso on the stars should I mark down as not as described or neither both?

I hate leaving rubbish feedback but people should be a little more thorough before stating excellent.

This happened to me once, and I was really annoyed by it. I emailed the seller and was nicey nice and said that I realised they were listing lots of items and that I thought they'd made a mistake with the listing. I offered to return the item to them so that I didn't have to leave neg feedback.

The seller refunded my money...

I would email BEFORE giving feedback and ask for a refund.

Happened to me recently, received a pair of Phase 8 trousers which not only were worn to rags at the bottom but had been altered (button moved and taken up), hems then partly let back down with threads still hanging, and looked like they'd been on someone's bedroom floor for a month! The seller refunded me with extremely bad grace and seemed to think that because the selling price was low I should have been satisfied with them! I held back from replying to this but what i really wanted to say was that I wouldn't even have charity shopped them in that condition, let alone sold them! Hey ho.

If you do get a refund you can then maybe give neutral feedback saying 'not as described but refund received so I am happy' or similar.

Great, thanks, I did contact the seller and gentley discussed that the top was marked and not Excellent and she has agreed to refund some of the money.

Glad she was polite. Worth it anyway. I will leave good feedback as she is a new seller.
