Is there one? Whilst I don't mind ebay for the occassional thing, I resent selling larger more expensive items due to both ebay and paypal fees. Its a double sting.

I am trying to sell my stokke xplory, have tried gumtree and preloved. Is there anywhere else?...oh I have tried on here toGrin

Netmums is very good for large items. I see you have tried Gumtree. I have also used local paper (free for £50 and under advert), freeads website, adtrader - website & paper, also local Tesco noticeboard.

I have discovered that the local paper tends to reach the grandparents, which online adverts don't!

Another possibility is an NCT sale but you will need to pay commission on it so it would probably be better to try elsewhere first.

nelix, check out what price they're going for on ebay first - with items like this you might find that bidding pushes the price up considerably higher than you'd ask for in a normal ad, making it worthwhile even once you've paid ebay fees.

You can also request cash on collection to avoid paypal fees.
