I sold an iPhone case to a buyer for £1.99 including free postage. He has sent me a message saying it was damaged when it arrived, and sent a photo to prove it. I know it was definately ok when I posted it but obviously I can't prove it.
I guess there's no point contacting royal mail for such a small amount and I don't have proof of postage. Am I still responsible for an item after I've posted it, and do I have to give a refund?

but i would claim this from royal mail, assuming you have proof of posting?
