Is it better to split a lot?

I'm trying to make a bit of money on ebay for Christmas, and am thinking of selling the kids wooden train set that they never play with.

So, a question for ebay experts, would you sell as one big lot or split into smaller lots?

I would put it as one lot.

Depends what it is. If it is a Thomas set with lots of different engines and accessories then I would split but offer combined postage if people win more than one item, otherwise if it all came as a set then I would sell it as a set.
