on ebay. It was new. Headboard was ripped at a seam and overall quality v poor. Also the description said it had a metal support underneath, this turned out not to be the case.
I arranged with the seller to swap the headboard for an undamaged one but the replacement has not arrived.
It will cost me a lot in courier fees to return an item of this size and it seems unfair i should have to bear costs of this.
I have contacted seller chasing up headboard. What is the next step? neg feedback? opening dispute?

if I were you I wouldn't leave feedback yet, but I would open a dispute right away.

Thanks. I will do that.

that was really good advice bn i think it's getting sorted
seller said he had arranged replacement for this am? and to refuse it and send whole item back for a full refund
trouble is, the courier said he could not take it as he was going to diff depot and that another van would collect in the afternoon .. still waiting ..
I'm hoping it's mere incompetence and will be sorted out tomorrow
I feel as if I am in quarantine stuck here!

Open a dispute. Ebay may say that you need to return the goods for a refund, but just you opening a dispute may cause the seller to refund you or sort something out. Otherwise leave negative feedback.

Has the seller got any negative feedback?
