eBay seller won't send item!

Hi there,

First post in this topic.

I ordered and paid for an item on eBay over a week ago and paid for 24 hour courier delivery.

Now I have an email off the seller (registered buisness) telling me that he can't send the item as my post code isn't registered. I explained to him that we are in a new build so the post code still isn't on some people's sytems yet but to send the item anyway as in the last couple of weeks I have oredered quite a bit of stuff and have had it all delivered by 3 other courier companies without problems. But he's still saying he can't send it.

I don't want to cancel the order as it's a brand new item and cheaper than anywhere else I've seen it and money is tight at the moment.

Can I ask him to use a courier who has already delivered to this address or can he insist on using his own courier therefore not sending the item?

you could suggest the courier that you know will be ok, but yes, he can still insist on using his own, and continue to refuse to send. Take time over your messages to him and try and coax him along

Could it be something as simple as he books it online and it wont let him do it ?
