ebay fees

hello,
im very confused,can anyone enlighten me?
if i sell something for £1,500 on 'buy it now or best offer'
how much do I actually get, and how much is ebay/paypal fees?!
im really rubbish at maths and i cant decode ebays explanation!
any help much appreciated!

On a buy it now it would be 40p insertion fee ( then 9.9% upto 49.99 plus 5.9% from 49.99 - 599.99 plus 1.9 % of remaining) final value fee also 3.4% + 20p for paypal So that would be £51.20 paypal and £54.50 final fees so total you are left with is £1393.90

if its a car its differant

plus if you do it in an auction with start price of £1500 its £1.40 insertion £40 final fee and £51.20 paypal so £14.50 better off
