is there a good time of the year to sell certain things?

for example I have a few toys, brand new and unused aswell as some used ones that i'd like to sell but wondered if it's worth waiting til maybe November, obviously thinking of christmas. Or should I just bung them on now and see what happens?

Also have some clothes to sell, uniform which i'll sell now. A winter coat, probably put that on now too.

Also have a few garden things for kids, which I assume is best of going on now?

bumping this to ask specifically about dvd's and cd's

I have a lot of dvd's mainly used but in fab condition. Is it worth ebaying these or is the hassle of listing, paying fees, posting not worth the bother?

They're not classic dvd's or cd's just ones we don't need.
