payment clearing

hi everyone,
I've bid and won on an outfit for my DD1, ended yesterday paid straight away through paypal. all fine, checked ebay today, received a email today saying shes waiting until payment has cleared tuesday/wednesday then she will send?
I thought payment through paypal was instant? is this normal? (i've brought 100ish items never had this before)

hi i had this once too. pay pal IS instant but my seller said they didnt have it turned out they put there wrong bank account details in! i would suspect its beacause there bank records are showing that its not in yet they can take a day to show up in an account. i wouldnt use this seller agian and would point this out in feed back or possibly flagg it to ebay if it dosnt say on the listing that there will be a delay in posting. hope this helps

send a message back telling her that the payment cleared as soon as it went into her paypal account. Explain to her that you don't want to wait until she has transfered it to her bank account and would rather she post the item asap.

I know I'm coming in to this a bit late & it's probably sorted by now but did you pay with an e-cheque because Paypal tell you not to send the item until it has cleared as it can bounce just like a cheque.
