buying from China?

god help me but i've started buying the odd stocking filler for the DC for this Xmas!

Have spotted a few bits "From China".
Is there anything i need to know about this?

Or everything OK?

Personally, wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
Not done it personally, but I seem to remember previous threads on this and it usually ends in tears!! Perhaps search through some old threads, I think you will find something....

I had a problem with buying a Nintendo DS from china, they sent totally the wrong thing.
Lots of e-mails back and forth, but in the end the money was refunded as they admitted their mistake.

But best not to unless it's something VERY special, not worth it for cheapness as you have to pay customs as well on some items

thanks ladies - have given it some thought and as they're only stocking fillers i'm after will search buy from Ebay UK sellers instead.
