'Ideal 2nd buggy'

I'm looking on ebay for a new pushchair and quite a few people have described theirs as 'an ideal second buggy'.

What does this mean to you? That they are quite worn? Not very comfortable for the baby? I am looking an Urban Detour described this way - I thought that would be decent enough for every day use?

i think they probably mean it's cheap!
i only see the need for one personally!

We had a buggy at ours and one at my folks - it was just easier having two than packing ours into the car when visiting.

See the one I am looking at appears to cost £300 new (this one is used), so I don't know why it wouldn't be ideal for everyday use? Unless it is really worn, which they don't mention. Maybe I am over thinking it though!

I have always just had one, until it is down to its bare bones, too. Pushchair shopping hurts my head.

I always think when they say ideal 2nd buggy that it is not as pristine as someone might want for using it all the time.

With an Urban Detour though they are great pushchair but pretty heavy and don't fold that small so many people (myself included) have a stroller which I use most of the time, but a larger pushchair when you need something more heavy duty.

The only thing I would be wary of with a 2nd Hand Urban is that they may have been well used (but they are very well made so will withsatnd a lot of use). Can you ask to veiw it first?

I think they also may be saying:

I realise that you will already have shelled out lots of cash for a new buggy for your precious child, but if you find the need for another one then please consider this....
