Hi all, (sorry, started this in 400 by summer thread too but just noticed it appears very quite at the minute)

Its my first time selling on ebay, have came to end of my paid maternity leave so trying to raise a few quid for the Summer months.

Would really appreciate any tips - I have often bought on ebay and I think that Im really after messing up with my items, listed all with no reserve thinking that they would get more attention, I do have quite a few watchers and a couple of bids but at the minute its looking like Ill be stupidly be selling Il Gufo and Catimini for 0.01p each!!!!!! DH has sold before and was telling me off for being so silly. Any ideas/ WWYD?

Kids stuff done. Have cleared out my own stuff this weekend, so want to list in next week or so but dont want to make the same silly mistake (Im sniffle selling a genuine Louie Vuitton handbag, coast dresses, shoes etc...).

Thanks all!! very best of luck

just a few tips
key words/ search words - no one uses beautiful, lovely etc when searching. use your title to the max with words that you think people will use when searching.
Start off at the minimum you want to sell for.
Don't waste so much money on extra photos - use photobucket for extras, it's free. same with 2nd category - not always necessary.

Not a totaa e-bay newbie, but could do with some advice.

DD (older teenager) has de-cluttered her wardrobe and wants to e-bay loads of clothes. There's nothing special there, labelwise. What is the best time of the week to list it? For example, I presume people are out on a Saturday night so there is no point listing then. Do people think, of a Tuesday night, that they need a new outfit for the weekend? Or do they look Friday night when they have been paid?
When is best for clothes? (and any other helpful hints that you can think of!)

TIA
