Rat Cage unsuitable

I recently bought a rat cage on ebay but it has proved to be unsuitable.
The sellers listing was a very good one with lots of photos and even gave the measurments for the spacing between the bars.
The seller described the cage has been unsuitable for baby rats as they would be able to escape.
The spacing between the bars is quite wide wider than any cage I have seen and I was quite surprised when I recieved it on seeing this.
Anyway my rats are now 5 months old and the one rat can escape from the cage he can squeeze through the bars.
I have contacted the seller and they have said that the cage was described well and they have sold hundreds without problem and its unfortunate that my rats can get out and that like people animals also come in differnet sizes they say its out of their control.
So what do you think do I take it further.
Or do I just pass it off as a bad buy.

How long ago did you buy it?

the seller is right, it was described well, so no you can't take it further. I also believe they did well in their response to you.
