DS 19 has always been on the skinny side but anxiety started last year which went hand in hand with not being able to eat ans vomiting episodes linked to the anxiety. His bmi is very low and yet he has been doing better these past weeks however weight is stable and he is not really putting on. He is back from 1st year of uni and his therapist suggested going to the gp to talk about his weight. He did so and then the gp said he would be referred to the dietitian. He went back a week or so later for blood tests and these took ages to come back. We had half back and all okay but were waiting on others which specifically I can’t remember. We are now out of the country till end of August and he got a text from the gp saying that he needs to register as a permanent patient to get the referral done. I always go to the worst case. Please tell me that this is for the dietitian and it’s not to do with the remaining blood tests Time zone difference means gp is closed and we can’t ring till tomorrow.
