Support for neighbour family with a teen in hospital

Our neighbour has just let us know their teen daughter is in hospital and has been for a few weeks with an eating disorder. They just crossed paths with us briefly outside and apologised for not being around much lately.
I'm going to drop round a card just offering any help if they need it looking after their dogs, checking on the house if they're out and giving them our phone number etc but is there any other way I can help/anything I can drop round that would actually be helpful at a time like this?
We only moved here six months ago so don't really know them but have two young girls ourselves and can only imagine how stressful things are for them right now, but me dropping round wine/flowers/chocolate just doesn't seem appropriate.

Op I think its lovely what you are doing. Most people wouldn't bother being that kind. Maybe offer them a cuppa and a chance to talk ?

Maybe ask if they'd like some meals or some basic shopping? They probably won't be eating well, or not be shopping if they are at the hospital a lot.
