Best info on ED? For young girls

My Dd’s close friend has very obviously developed an ED. Restricts what she eats in a severe way, loves making food for others and handing it out. It’s distressing to see. I am also aware of the impact it might have on her friends and I would like to educate myself further. No wish to offer advice or help to the parent of the girl with an ED because I know they are on to it. But I do want to learn more as a parent of girls.

The friend in question is very young - only 10, which is quite worrying.

so I am looking for sources of good advice and information please.
