Getting desperate - can you recommend a good protein shake?

Hi,
I’m getting desperate for my son to eat and his ED nurse suggested this week that we buy some chocolate Ensure drink.

Our DS is 17 and has ARFID.
It’s currently worse than it’s ever been in his 17 years and today he’s literally only had 3/4 of a cheeseburger.

I don’t mind paying for anything but I know that he will most likely smell the Ensure and refuse it and it’s pretty pricey and I can’t buy only one bottle.

So I thought it would make more sense to ask on here if someone can suggest a high protein/calorific drink he might accept. Basically, it would have to be as much like drinking normal chocolate milk as possible - not like a fortified product that doesn’t quite taste right 😬.
I bought a bottle of Paediasure a few months back and even I thought it smelt rank!

I’ve got some Friji but he says no to that as well.

Thank you so much for everyone’s ideas so far - you’ve all been a massive help and it gives me a bit of hope.
If I haven’t responded to every message I’m so sorry. I have read them all. 😊

The Team RH protein shakes get a good name. And they do sample packs

@Kelpie78 thanks - I’ll take a look.

I think Huel is pretty decent.
Exante were a bit too sweet for me.
The supermarket brand either tesco or Asda chocolate diet shake is actually pretty nice, or at least they both used to be, blended with ice.

Maybe waffles made with waffle machine are better than pancakes and they look the same every time?

But you can buy pre made ones and just put in toaster to warm and see how he likes those first before investing.

Also, how about those mini brioche cake/ bread things? Mc d burger buns are brioches so he might like

Thanks @Caspianberg he used to eat choc chip brioches at school for lunch but went off them sadly.
the waffles are a good idea but he did try a waffle toasted a few months back and said he didn’t like it so refuse more.

@Kevinnn I’ve actually just ordered 2 samples of TeamRH protein and hope to add it to milk and chocolate ice cream 🤞

That sounds great, hopefully they'll work.
The happy shopper chocolate protein shakes taste a lot like the cheap chocolate milk a PP mentioned as well. The RH ones do look great, I'm thinking of getting some for myself.
