Help me understand dd...

So 14yo dd seems to have developed an eating disorder over lockdown. She's always been very critical of her appearance but in the last two months has restricted her diet more and more as well as upping the exercise.

She is being assessed for ASD and is under Camhs who are now liaising with the Camhs eating disorder team.

Her current eating pattern is no breakfast, small lunch (a sandwich/one roll) but will eat a good sized dinner and will eat biscuits and drink milk in the evening. Given the amount of exercise she's doing it's no where near enough.

I'm really struggling to understand her thinking around this, to me it makes no sense. Sometimes I can see she is hungry but she constantly denies it.

The eating disorder team have now requested a load of tests including blood tests and an ecg. Dd seems oblivious to what she's doing to herself and insists she is absolutely fine.

If anyone has any advice it would be gratefully received!
