Really sorry to leave such a long post but really need some advice.
Since 2 weeks old (now 8 weeks) my son has cried and winced all the time he is awake. If he's not aleep or feeding (bottle unable to bf) hes crying. Gp thought cmpa originally so hes on neocate and was given gaviscon and lazoprsole. He was then hospitalised for a week as he was so constipated and was taken off gaviscon and put on carabel. They discharged us with a referal to a gasto specialist at another hospital and said they thought it was severe acid reflux (silent). This referal wont be through for a while so they said they would see him in thier out paitents department a few days after release. We never got this through but a letter came through today saying they will see him at end of march so theres obviously been a mix up. I have now been home with him 2 weeks i wonder if i should ring them and say he never got his discharge appointment i dont want to bother them but hes getting worse and i really thought lansoprazole was going to do something. He has all classic silent reflux symptoms but the amount of clear fluid hes bringing up is worsening and smells awful, yesterday you could hear it in his throat and he was coughing and spluttering on it 😢. I do all the feeding, sleeping, sling wearing advice. Feel so low with it all. Thanks for listening

This board is normally for adults with eating disorders like anorexia. I wonder if you might be better getting this moved to children’s health?
It sounds like things are tough for you.
